Q. How do I know the size of the marquee I require?

A.This depends on two factors:

1). On the number of guests you will have at your function.

2). The type of event, e.g. a wedding, dinner and/or dance, a buffet with some seating or standing only etc.

Q. Will you have a look at the site to see if we can have a marquee?
A. Yes ocourse. We will come and assess your site before confirming a booking so that you know what size marquee can be erected safely on the chosen site.
Q. What happens if something goes wrong during the event?
A. All our equipment is maintained in first class condition so things rarely go wrong. However we also provide a full on call service 24 hours a day or your peace of mind.
 
Q. Will there be any damage my property?
A. Whenever we are erecting or dismantling we will take great care of your property. However we need to know about any underground services crossing the proposed marquee site. This should be disused at a site visit.
 
Q. Will your marquee be suitable for my event?
A. A site visit gives us the opportunity to discuss your requirements fully to ensure that we offer only the most suitable equipment for your event.
 
Q. Will there be any damage my lawn?
A. Your lawn may be discoloured after removal of the matting but will recover quite quickly.
 
Q. Can your marquees be connected to the house?
A. Yes, from a door or entrance we can usually provide covered walkways leading to a main marquee area. Alternatively a framed pavilion can be used on a patio area connecting directly to the house.
 
Q. Can we have a marquee in the winter?
A. Yes, our marquees can be made as comfortable in the winter as they are at the height of summer. With modern, ducted warm air heaters (thermostat controlled) the insides of the marquee can be kept warm whatever the weather outside. Glazed doors for entrances and wooden floors make for extra comfort in winter or summer.
 
Q. How far will we travel?
A. We are based mid way between Oxford and London, close to the M40, giving us good access to the Thames Valley, Bucks, Berks., Oxon, Herts. and London. However we do travel further afield and would be happy to discuss your requirements wherever your location.
 
Q. What about insurance?
A. We provide equipment and liability insurance. However you are responsible for the marquee during the hire period. Any malicious damage or missing equipment will be billed to you. If you would like insurance cover we will put you in touch with companies that can provide event insurance.
